About Us
New Centerville Rural Volunteer Fire Company has been protecting and serving the community since 1949. We have approximately 70 active firepersons. NCRVFC covers approximately 110 square miles of rural Somerset County. The department is strictly Volunteers.
Our Company started one momentous Sunday morning in the early part of February 1941, when a fire broke out in the home of Lloyd R. Berkey in New Centerville.
Our Members
New Centerville & Rural Volunteer Fire Company is made up of dedicated volunteers who give their time to protect and serve the community. Our members respond to emergencies, train regularly, maintain equipment, and support local events and fundraisers.
Whether responding to a call or helping behind the scenes, every member plays an important role in keeping our community safe.

From antique tractors and steam-powered equipment to tractor pulls, live demonstrations, crafts, food, contests, music, and activities for kids, there is something happening throughout the Jubilee.
See antique equipment in action, watch threshing and corn shelling demonstrations, explore the craft and quilt shows, catch live entertainment, and experience popular events like tractor and truck pulls, Kids Day activities, the Grand Jubilee Parade, and the Steam Engine Spark Show.
